Schall & Russo has worked closely with ICS as its planning consultants on an array of physical planning and operations projects. On one of ICS’s program and office sites, Schall & Russo helped ICS leadership and staff think about how they work and want to work; and facilitated conversations with key user groups in order to develop space programs and space plans that reflected the configuration, flow and mix of activities in spaces. This workflow solution was part of Schall & Russo’s larger role for several projects:

• helped ICS leverage its on-line presence;
• analyzed real estate development options and spaces for more than 50,000 SF in the Bronx, Manhattan and Brooklyn;
• assisted ICS with negotiating and securing sites;
• provided design management from schematics through to construction documents;
• specified, tested out with users, ordered and oversaw the installation of furnishings and equipment; and
• provided comprehensive project management through move-in.
