Schall & Russo carried out Strategic Development Planning and a Feasibility Study for a 90-acre recreational camp property in Beacon, NY. Schall & Russo worked closely with executive staff to explore two options: sale of the property for residential development and retaining the camp.

Schall & Russo explored various finance mechanisms for camp retention, including the sale of development rights, zoning changes, the creation of partnerships with developers and educational institutions. Schall & Russo also identified necessary reprogramming, marketing, and capital improvements.

Schall & Russo, with its collaborating graphic designers, Omnivore, Inc., developed a clear, concise and well-designed "Decision Scrapbook" as a tool for its presentation to the Board of Directors.

Schall & Russo helped develop the Renaissance Early Childhood Development Center, a 19,000 square foot early child educational facility constructed on the first two floors of Renaissance Estates, a 62-unit low income tax credit project in Bushwick.

Schall & Russo conducted licensing and regulatory analysis, financial analyses that included revenue/expense projections based on publicly-subsidized and private pay revenues, and program and operations planning and development. Upon the client’s request, Schall & Russo expanded the scope of services to: aid in identifying and evaluating potential outside operators and partners; and provide business and real estate advice to structure an agreement with its new partner.
